I think the Mena region deserves more attention to enable it to evolve and develop. This work must concern several axes at the same time:
First line: Education:
There is evidence that there has been real progress in access to education, but that there are still systems of education that remain inadequate in terms of assimilation of basic skills. This is evident in the lag in skills demanded and required in the labor market and those taught.
Second line: Gender:
There is a reversed gap in this region of the Mena which presents itself in the non-recognition of social performances and equal opportunities between men and women.
It can be seen that in some countries of this region young people have become aware of this scourge and have acted in an acceptable way with regard to this subject and have succeeded in some way in identifying this problem of equality between men and women.
This mobilization towards this subject has remained hidden in a certain country that leaves the woman crouching behind the masculine culture.
In the Mena region, more work is needed on institutions that strengthen the gender approach and education. In 10 years I see that there will be changes in the Mena region especially in the communities because young people are increasingly aware that their future belongs to them and that they will take action to take them through their mobilization and civil society.
