VIOLENCE OF THE ART___SOUHAIL ARFAOUI

Violence is defined as a physical or moral force, but it can also affect other forms of social life. We are interested in not only physical but also artistic violence in society in which individuals create their differentiation towards others who are supposed to be at the bottom of social stratification. Violence is not limited to the primary meaning of the artistic meaning, namely with the material side, but it goes beyond this restricted medium to touch a whole social classification. By observing history, we see an entire artistic heritage that aims to bring together different intellectual activities, we take the example of the pictorial work of Raphael "School of Athens", where he brings together several figures in one temple that reflect different civilizations: Greek, Islamic and Roman. Art played a role of fertilization between different cultures and allows communication between them.
