The decision to abandon the most persecuted minority in the world is against the precepts of human rights. The entire region of Southeast Asia is guilty of the suffering that endures. The Rohingyas for years have been ignored and have been victims of an ethical cleansing; they were sent to concentration camps and reduced to a state close to slavery.
With Myanmar's transition from dictatorship to democracy in 2011, freedom of expression has regained life for several hundred people and dispossessed thousands of others, while a hundred thousand Rohingyas Been driven from their homes and lived in unfavorable conditions in overcrowded camps.
In this case, the idea of the so-called Burmese democracy resulted in the victimization of the Rohingyas. Their suffering goes back decades and is considered one of the darkest chapters in the modern history of Southeast Asia.
ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, which is a political, economic and cultural organization comprising ten countries in South-East Asia, should understand that good neighborly relations should not be based on Trade and those who violate human rights must be held accountable for their crimes committed. There is no justification for the acts of ethical cleansing and genocide of which it is a victim whether minority or not, it is human beings who deserve to be Protected by human rights.
The path is long and fraught with pitfalls, stormy neighborhoods and mosques in smoke, the minority is the victim of real pogroms by the Buddhist population. The genocide currently affects the Rohingyas, and denounces false democratic icons such as Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi, who is silent, or complicit in racist and violent government policy against the Rohingyas.
Generally, peacemaking means all measures aimed at stifling an ongoing conflict, which usually involves diplomatic efforts to bring the parties to a negotiated settlement. The Secretary-General of the United Nations may exercise his "good offices" to facilitate the settlement of disputes. Intermediaries involved in peacemaking can also be special envoys, governments, groups of states, regional organizations or the UN itself. Peace-building efforts can also be undertaken by informal and non-governmental groups or by an eminently independent personality.
Peacebuilding aims to reduce the risk of conflict breaking up or resuming by strengthening national capacities for conflict management at all levels and laying the foundations for sustainable peace and development. It is a complex, long-term process that seeks to create the conditions that must be met for sustainable peace to be achieved. Peacebuilding measures aim to tackle the fundamental problems affecting the functioning of society and the State and are intended to enhance the capacity of the State to effectively and legitimately fulfill its core functions. Today, multi-purpose United Nations peacekeeping operations facilitate the political process, protect civilians, assist in the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of ex-combatants, support elections, defend and Protecting human rights and helping to restore the state Of peace and law.
