Nowadays, and in different situations around the world, children are brutalized and used in a cynical way. Children killed in situations of armed conflict or disabled for life.
 Other children continue to be exploited as child soldiers.

The war is causing more and more casualties among women and children as well as a disproportionate death toll among civilians. There is an increase in cross-border enrollment of children in refugee camps, these cases being linked to a lack of security around the camps.

The criminal exploitation of children is the fact that they are taken as targets in conflicts, a violation not only of their right but also of the very foundations of peace and international security. It is clear that the characteristics of the war we observe in the Middle East help to anchor the belief that violence is an acceptable method of settlement and experience.

 Children are victims of attacks on their community, child soldiers, and refugees. The children are the witnesses and at the same time the perpetrators of the atrocities, these experiences that we observe everywhere in the wars, mark them deeply on the psychological level.
Education plays a crucial role because even in the midst of chaos, it can restore a certain degree of stability and normality for children. Education offers a unique opportunity to teach children follow-up messages on such vital issues as mine awareness and prevention. Education can also bring peace and justice to the world.
